PP end caps are widely used in various pipe and container closing systems

The diameter (Φ20) of the PP end cap is 20mm, which meets the requirements of many standard small pipe or container sealing. This diameter can ensure that the end cap fits tightly with the corresponding pipe or equipment port, preventing the entry of external air or liquid and the leakage of internal substances. End caps of this size are usually used in smaller pipe systems, such as laboratory equipment or small pipe installations in industrial production.

In terms of length, the total length (L) of the PP end cap is 34mm, which means that its appearance presents a relatively slender design. In practical applications, such a length can not only provide sufficient gripping space for easy installation and removal, but also ensure that the end cap has a larger contact area with the pipe port, thereby improving the sealing effect. Furthermore, the insertion length (L1) is 28mm, indicating that most of the end cap will be inserted into the pipe, and the part left outside is relatively small, which helps to better hide the end cap and improve the aesthetics and safety of the pipe system.

The two diameters (D and d) of the end cap are 33mm and 20.5mm respectively, which means that the outer diameter of the end cap is slightly larger than the inner diameter. This design is usually for better sealing effect. The larger outer diameter can provide additional protection for the pipe or equipment, and its additional edge design prevents the end cap from accidentally falling off during use. The inner diameter is 20.5mm, which is slightly larger than the diameter of the pipe or equipment (Φ20), providing a certain installation margin to ensure that the end cap can be smoothly inserted during installation.

The PP material itself has excellent physical properties, making the end cap chemically resistant, high temperature resistant, and lightweight. These characteristics make it particularly suitable for use in various pipeline systems with corrosive substances, or in equipment that needs to be frequently exposed to high temperature environments. At the same time, the PP end cap has good impact resistance and mechanical strength, and it is not easy to deform or break even if it is impacted by external forces during use. This durability has made it widely used in industry, agriculture, chemical industry, home and other fields.

The environmental protection of PP material is also a major advantage of this end cap. Polypropylene is a recyclable material. After being made into an end cap, it can still be reused by recycling and reprocessing, which is particularly important in the current era of advocating environmental protection.

In terms of production technology, the manufacture of end caps usually adopts injection molding process. The molten PP material is injected into the mold by an injection molding machine, and after cooling and shaping, a finished product with accurate size and shape can be obtained. This production method is highly efficient and can ensure the consistency of quality of each end cap.
